Forming part of the FAT5 transmitter project, FAT-MAX is a self contained speech processor which greatly improves speech intelligibility by compressing the dynamic range of the audio thus increasing the average talk-power. Buil-in EQ tailors the audio response for better clarity, Compression attack and decay times are optimised for voice transmission. Output is suitable for driving any of the FAT5 modulators.
